Irene Seckinger Owens

Funeral services for Irene Seckinger Owens, 80, of Ochlocknee, are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Pastor Doug McGee will officiate. Mrs. Owens died June 21 at her residence. Born June 22, 1928, in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Molly Dorminy Seckinger. She was a retired unit secretary from Archbold Memorial Hospital and a member of Westside Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Sheree O. and Victor Dickenson, Jr.; son, Mark A. Owens of Winston Salem, N.C.; grandchildren, Darren Dickenson, Brittni D. Flowers and Travis A. Owens. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Seckinger; and sister, Christine Dollar.
