Graveside services for Irma Chrstine Taylor of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Fredonia Cemetery. Rev. Morris Nichols and Rev. Paul Blough will officiate. Mrs. Taylor died August 14, 2003 at Hospitality Care Nursing Home. Born December 19, 1917 in Cotton, Ga., she was the daughter of the late John and Essie Bowen Taylor. She was married to Winford H. Taylor, Jr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Fredonia Baptist Church and a Homemaker. Except for brief moves during WWII, Irma lived her life in Thomasville, GA. She was the strong center of her family and made the old Taylor house a home full of love for her family. Survivors include a son, Gary Taylor of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Dolores Taylor Higginbotham and Bill of Fernandina Beach, Fl.; grandchildren, Chris Taylor, Cindy Taylor Manning, Ashley Taylor, Mike Higginbotham and wife, Susan, Lisa Chaubal and husband, Raj; great grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer and Devin; sisters, Edna McCloud of Palatka, Fl., Mary Hutchins of Tallahassee, Fl., and Betty Hornsby of Bainbridge, GA.
