Jack Clide Coulter, 74 of Thomasville passed away February 19, 2017 at Tift Regional Hospital. Born March 23, 1942 in Gray, Georgia, he was the son of the late William Brown Coulter and Tempie Herndon Coulter. They worked alongside of each other as owners of Appliance Repair for almost 30 years. They had a special loving relationship that can’t be explained that we should all strive to have. He graduated from Jones County High School class of 1961. He enjoyed fishing, tending to his “pet” turkeys, antiquing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his children, Molly Powell (Phillip) of Thomasville, Amy Algoe (Tim) of Perry, Georgia and Jeremy Coulter (Jenny) of Statesboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Maci Crocker (Tyler), Stephen Coulter (Amanda), Elizabeth Coulter, Victoria Coulter, Josh Algoe, Emma Grace Algoe, Jackson Algoe, Peyton Coulter and Claire Coulter; great-grandchildren, Madison Crocker and Avie Algoe; sisters, Alice Duke, Christine McNab, Blanche Marchman, Geneva Bussell and brother, Melvin Coulter. He is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Lee Coulter and brothers, Walter Thomas Coulter, Randy Coulter, Lester Coulter, Raymond Coulter and Vernon Coulter.
