Jack Edward Rosch, 91 of Thomasville passed away on June 7, 2015 at Camellia Gardens. He was born December 28, 1923 in Chicago, IL. He retired from Chicago Sun Times in 1985 as an advertising executive. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, member of Thomasville Rotary Club, member of Glen Arven Country Club, worked as a volunteer at the Thomasville Food Bank and as a docent volunteer at the Thomasville Historical Society. He was veteran of World War II serving in the US Navy from 1941-1945 on submarines. In September 1989, he married Mary Louise W. Anderson of Sarasota, Fl, who survives him. He is also survived by daughter Jacqueline Mary Gideon &, husband Ted of Chevy Chase, MD., daughter Diane Margaret Eigen of Cedarburg, WI., grandchildren Dymitri Garret Eck and Brynna Marie Eck of Chevy Chase, MD, and Brigida Eigen and Madison Eigen of Cedarburg, WI. He was pre-deceased by parents Anna Gruidl Rosch and John Anton Rosch of Chicago, IL and a sister Ruth Marie Rosch McKee of Anaheim, CA and his beloved yellow Labrador Jake Four.
