Services for Jackson Autry Holmes of Metcalfe are at 11:00AM on Friday, August 29, 2003 at Metcalfe United Methodist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Tegler Greer will officiate. A private graveside service will be in Springhill Cemetery. Mr. Holmes died August 26, 2003. Born July 10, 1929 in Decatur, IL., he was the son of the late Amond and Minnie Lee Autry Holmes. On August 31, 1956 in New Port Richey, Fl., he married Barbara Joan Hicks Holmes who survives. He was a field repesentative for GMAC and a manager for Glidden, ICI. Other survivors include a son Michael Allen Holmes of Plantation, Fl., daughter, Janet Elaine Holmes of Tallahassee, Fl.; brother, Robert Holmes of Jacksonville, Fl.; grandchildren, Brandi, Layne and Madison Holmes of Plantation, Fl. and Becky, Mary and Ben Fortson of Tallahassee, Fl.
