Jacqueline Juanita Gaughf Gelvin

Graveside services for Jacqueline Juanita Gaughf Nita Gelvin will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Laurel Hill Cemetery at 2 pm. Rev. Marty Carnes and Rev. Bob Dixon will officiate. Mrs. Gelvin died on March 8, 2013 in Thomasville. Born January 21, 1929 in Warwick, GA, she was the daughter of the late John and Euna Mae Gaughf. She was married to the late Robert A. Gelvin. Mrs. Gelvin was retired from First United Methodist Church where she was a secretary. She was a member of Tallyho Garden Club and First Baptist Church where she was a member of Gwen Kelly's Sunday School Class. She enjoyed writing short stories and flower arranging. Survivors include her daughter Sonya Gelvin of Thomasville and Tammy Gelvin of Lawrenceville, GA Also surving are nephews Phillip Gaughf and wife Brenda of Brunswick, Blake Gaughf of Jacksonville, FL and brother in law and sister in law Joe and Marge Brozek and their family of Arnold, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 1:45 before the service on Tuesday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
