Services for Jacqueline Jackie Turner Winchester, 67, of Thomasville are 11:00 am, Saturday, December 12, 2009 at First Baptist Church Sanctuary. The Rev. Steve Brooks will officiate and interment will be in Medart Cemetery in Medart, Fl. Mrs. Winchester died December 6, 2009 at Archbold Hospital. Born February 2, 1942 in Tallahassee, Fl, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Hugh Turner, Eva Strickland Storch and step father, Richard C. Storch. On June 28, 1964 in Tallahassee, Fl she married Charles M. Winchester who survives. Mrs. Winchester was a 7th grade science teacher for 45 years at Thomas County Middle School and was a member of First Newark Baptist Church. Survivors include son, Charles Chuck M. Winchester, Jr of Thomasville; grandchildren, Justin Stucky, Chancley Stucky, Rebecca Erin Winchester, John Dallas Winchester, Daniel Camelle Winchester. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Hugh Turner. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Jacqueline Winchester Fund for Furtherment of Education c/o Thomasville National Bank, P.O. Box 1999, Thomasville, Ga 31799.
