James Douglas Conn

James Douglas Conn of Albany, died June 16, 2003 in Thomasville, Georgia. Born January 30, 1922 in Breeden, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Millard F. & Kathryn Marcum Conn. He was married to Betty Jo Broady Conn who preceded him in death. Mr. Conn was a member of Cathedral of Faith Church in Albany and was a retired, mechanic. He was an Air Force veteran serving during World War II and the Korean War. Survivors include twin sons, Douglas Lee Conn and James Monroe Conn both of Albany; grandchildren, James Christopher Conn, Stephen Michael Conn, Robert Daniel Conn, Elizabeth Anne Conn, Bethany Anne Conn; sisters, Ernestine Reese of Sylvester, Ga., Virginia Fossey of Miami, Fl., brothers, Robert Conn of Leesburg, GA., Edward Conn and Wayne Conn both of Miami, Fl. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA. 30345. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
