James Edward Beaty

Family services will be held for James Edward Beaty at Westview Cemetery, September 29, 2011. Mr. Beaty passed away September 27, 2011 at the age of 87. He was born in Pavo on June 7, 1924 and was the son of the late Ottis and Jewell Beaty. He had lived in Moultrie most of his life and was a graduate of Moultrie High School. Mr. Beaty was retired from the Georgia Department of Agriculture, was a veteran of World War II and served in Europe and the Philippines. He is survived by his sons and daughter in laws, Keith and Linda Beaty, Ray and Dianne Beaty and David and Willene Beaty, by grandchildren Kimberly Mainor, Chad Beaty, Clark Beaty and Grant Beaty and great grandchildren Jaycee and Raley Mainor and Jayne Beaty. He was preceded in death by his wife Vernel Prince Beaty and his wife Barbara Ellis Beaty. Services have been entrusted to Allen and Allen Funeral Home, Thomasville, GA.
