James Gary Derrickson

Memorial services for James Gary Derrickson, 61 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, June 13, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Timothy Scoonover will officiate. Mr. Derrickson passed away June 10 at his residence. Born May 12, 1952 in Lewes, De; he was the son of the late Harry Derrickson and Earline Warren Derrickson. He was married to Mary Katherine Ennis who survives. He worked for Flowers Foods as a Business Systems Analyst and started and maintained his own software business called KD Development. He enjoyed computers and recording music. Work and music were his passion. Other survivors include daughters, Kelle Whitman of Tampa, Fl and Devon Derrickson of Lewes, De; grandchildren, Alex, Kyle, Phoenix, Ryan and Ava; brother, Bob Derrickson of Rehoboth Beach, De. He was preceded in death by sister, Sandra Steele.
