James Hubert Mirick

Services for James Hubert Mirick, 71, of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Trinity Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Ken Burgess will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Mirick died February 6, 2009 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Born September 6, 1937 in Quincy, FL, he was the son of the late J. W. and Leah Vaginia Harvell Mirick. On July 9, 1961 in Thomas Co., GA he married Mollie Baggett Mirick who survives. Mr. Mirick was a maintenance and fork lift mechanic for Georgia Crate and Basket Company since 1962. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Tina P. Mirick, Jamie L. and Cindy Highsmith Mirick, Jason E. and Casey B. Mirick all of Thomasville, grandchildren, Keith Mirick, Joshua Mirick, Baily Barrineau, Sierrah Bozeman, Kayla Bozeman, Allyson Mirick, great grandson, Noah Mirick, sister, Betty Harvell of Colorado Springs, Col., sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Bill Gunter of Theodore, Ala., sister-in-law Delores Baggett and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son, William Lee Mirick on October 4, 1998, a sister, Willodene Middleton and father-in-law and mother-in-law, William Floyd and Carrie Lee Hatcher Baggett.
