James C. Law

Services for James C. Law, 82 of Ochlocknee will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Rev. Gary Folds and Pastor Nathan Fowler will officiate and interment will follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Law passed away January 23, 2023 at Archbold Hospital. Born July 24, 1940 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Ansley Law and Lillian Collier Law. On April 21, 1963, he married Betty Morgan. Mr. Law was part of the first graduating class of Central High School. After graduation, he moved to Washington DC to work with the FBI and later transferred to Jacksonville, Florida. There he was part owner of Riverside Camera. He later moved to Thomasville where he opened Law's Camera Shop until his retirement. He was a member of the National Guard. He was an active member of Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church where he served as treasurer for 38 years and was a Deacon Emeritus. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Law of Ochlocknee; daughter, Pam Griffin and husband Jason of Thomasville; grandchildren, Ellie Griffin and Miles Griffin; brothers, Charles Law and wife Rhonda of Thomasville and Julian Law and wife Saundra of Jacksonville, Fl. The family will receive friends 10:00 am - 11:00 am, prior to the service at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church.
