James Logue

Graveside services for James Richard Logue will be Tuesday August 18th at 11:00 AM at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Reverend Royce Johnson will officiate. Mr Logue passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA. He was 72 years old and the oldest son of Ben Hill Logue and Florence Fowler Logue. James graduated from Thomasville High School in 1965. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970. He married Lydia Pamela Gandy on November 15, 1969. James was a member of Morningside United Methodist church where his parents were founding members. He worked at Balfour Lumber Company for 44 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include wife Pam, son James “Jay” Richard Logue II (Teresa), grandson Casey and granddaughter Tristen Logue; sister Jan Logue Holladay (Robert), nephews Robert Ben Holladay and Jason Edward Holladay; sister-in-law Brenda Reeves Logue, niece Angela Logue; brother-in-law Wayne Dodson and nephew Bert Dodson; good friends Cody Rehberg and Marshall Green. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jackie Logue, and brothers Gay and Edward (Buddy) Logue.
