James Pebbles

Graveside services for James E. Peebles, 89, of Snellville will be held Saturday at 11:00AM at Pavo Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Peebles died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Emory Eastside in Snellville. Mr. Peebles lived in Snellville, where he resided with his wife and daughter. In 1945 he resided in Pavo, Georgia where he was employed at Mim's Drug Store. James was a WWII veteran and retired employee of Swift and Company of Moultrie, Georgia and also from J. C. Penney in Albany, Georgia. He was a member of the Snellville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Earlene Smith Peebles, daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bruce Greenwood, grand daughter, Christy Levitt, and two great grand sons, Sidney and Sam Levitt.
