James H. Peppers

Graveside service for James H. Peppers will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March, 25, 2022, at Harmony Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Phillip Howell officiating. James "Jim" Peppers, age 66, of Barwick passed away on March 22, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Miami on June 7, 1955, a son of Howard and Betty Peppers. Jim attended Thomas County Central High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church. Jim enjoyed playing horseshoes, yard work and gardening, as well as raising coy fish. Survivors include his mother Betty Peppers; his wife Carol Howell Peppers of Barwick; sons James Christopher Peppers of Barwick, and Shaun Thomas Peppers (Carol) of Penngrove, CA; grandchildren Dustin Michael Peppers (Jamie), Nicolas James Peppers (Maggie), Elizabeth Carol Peppers (fiancé Thomas), Logan Truong Peppers, and Dylan Truong Peppers; sister Diane Prevatt; and many extended family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his father Howard Peppers, brother Jack Lamar Peppers, and sister Debra McCord.
