Services for James Robert Moore, 70, of Donaldsonville, Ga are 4pm, Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Earl Hines will officiate. Mr. Moore died May 17, 2008 at his residence. Born Jan 2, 1938 in Knox, Co Ind, he was the son of the late James Spence Moore & Lucille Jarvis Moore. He was married to Peggy Louise Hatcher Moore, who survives. He was retired from Textron, spent 14 years in the Navy, and was a member of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion. Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, James Robert Moore II and wife Brandi of Thomasville, daughter & son-in-law, Crystal Dawn & Chris Singletary of Whigham, Ga, step son & daughter-in-law, Kenneth D. & Teresa Johnson of Cairo, step daughter, Buffie Reeves of Ochlocknee, grandchildren, Ally Moore, Tiffany Wert, Kristina Singletary, Devyn Singletary, step-grandchildren, Chelsea Brinson and Heath Brinson.
