James Donald Rowles

James Donald Rowles, 65 of Thomasville, GA, passed away December 27, 2018. Services will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on January 5, 2019 at 1:00 PM. He was born February 23, 1953 in Kingston, NY to James E. and Charlotte Humphrey Rowles. Mr. Rowles, a Navy veteran, was the owner of Rowles Roofing and was semi-retired. He belonged to the Dahlonega Gold Miner and Appalachian Hiker clubs. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors are: his wife of 43 years, Deborah Rowles; daughter, Sunshine Ann (Michael) Halphen; and son, Joshua (Bethany) Rowles, all of Thomasville; four grandsons, Joshua Rowles, Jr. and Zachary Blake of Ocala, FL, Dylan Halphen and Ethan Rowles of Thomasville; brothers, Douglas Rowles of Ellenville, NY, Steven Rowles of Breckenridge, CO, Barry Rowles of Thomasville, Michael Rowles of Charlotte, NC and Jeffery Rowles of Wesley Chapel, FL. Mr. Rowles was predeceased by his brother, Russell Rowles and parents.
