James Stillwell

Funeral services for James Dewey Stillwell, 62, of Thomasville will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 2:00PM in the Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bob Norman will officiate and interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 13th Street. Pallbearers are George Stillwell, Michael Stillwell, Jamie Thompson, Scottie Thompson, Allen Donalson and Jason Bradley. Honorary pallbearers are Guy Jordan and Phillip Powell. Mr. Stillwell passed away Saturday April 2, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Mr. Stillwell was an Army Veteran and a security Guard for Metcalf Lumber Company. He was married to Cynthia Nell Shackleford who preceded him in death. Mr. Stillwell was the son of the late George Dewey Stillwell and Nellie Smith Stillwell. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Ted Singletary and their children, Leaha Nicole and Jordan Matthew Singletary all of Thomasville, a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher James and Sarah Yvonne Stillwell and their children, Crystal Yvonne, Mary Christine, Ryan Christopher, Heather Rose all of Goose Creek, South Carolina, sons George Dewey Stillwell and Michael Chadwick Stillwell both of Albany, GA, a sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Guy Jordan of Thomasville, sisters, Seritha Thompson and Geneva Bishop both of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews. The family will be at the home of Jackie and Ted Singletary, 121 Pine Lane, Thomasville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM on Tuesday.
