James Willis Dollar

A memorial service celebrating the life of James Willis Jimmy Dollar, 56, of Coolidge will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 5PM at Woodhaven Plantation, Coolidge, Georgia. Following the memorial service, a visitation will be held in the Sea Island House, Woodhaven Plantation. Mr. Dollar passed away Friday, July 31, 2009, after a courageous battle with melanoma. Mr. Dollar was born on March 1, 1953, to James Ellis Dollar and Myrtle Thompson Dollar in Thomasville. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Dollar. He is survived by his son, Daniel Newton Dollar, Thomasville; his sister Penny Dollar of Marietta, Georgia; and special son Dylan Moncrief, Thomasville. In addition he is survived by numerous relatives as well as many faithful friends including those at Thomasville Toyota, Woodhaven Plantation, and Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center.
