James William Wilson

Services for James (Daddy James) William Wilson, 88, from Thomasville will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Chad Payne will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Wilson passed away on October 25, 2018 at home. Born February 02, 1930 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Henry Brinson Wilson and Mayo Kersey Wilson. He was married to Myrtice Ring Wilson who preceded him in death. Mr. Wilson was a loving and devoted father who enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and family fish fry’s. Other survivors include children, Jeannie Ceccacci and husband Tom, Jimmy Wilson, Marsha Griner and husband Gerald, all of Thomasville, Denna Gibbs and husband Mike of Moultrie, Danna Betts and husband Tony of Adel, Mickey Wilson and wife Debbie of Woodstock; grandchildren; Chuck & Elaine Ceccacci, Carolyn Ceccacci, Jessica & Nick Cashwell, Jamey & Cody Carnline, Alley Wilson, Endsley Wilson, Nichole & Taylor Cox, Denson Shepherd, Bobby Griner, Brandy & Aly Joslin, Clayton Dukes, Taylor Dukes, Zach & Brittany Gibbs, Whitney Pilgrim, Cody Betts, Kelsy Betts, Demi Wilson, Drake Wilson, Sigrid Van de Weyngaerdt; great grandchildren; Amanda Maher, Joseph Ceccacci, Savannah Ceccacci, Justin Oneal, Sophia Mosley, Ty Cashwell, Thomas Cashwell, Carter Cox, Luke Cox, Haleigh Joslin, Gareth Joslin, Macey Griner, Willis Cati Pilgram, Camden Pilgram, Ann-Lore Jadin, Marie Jadin; brothers Claude Wilson and wife Jackie, Emory Wilson and wife Pat, Gerald Wilson and wife Martha all of Thomasville; sister Vera Smith and husband Tommy also of Thomasville; He was preceded in death by brothers Brinson Wilson, Jack Wilson, Charles Wilson, Elmer Wilson, and sister-in-law Hedy Wilson. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 4:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
