Janice (Jan) K. Atkins

Memorial service for Janice K. Atkins, 69, of Thomasville will be 2:00PM, Saturday December 10, 2016 in the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Atkins went to be with our Savior on November 12, 2016. Born November 1, 1947 in Jefferson City, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Cleatus and Lorene Strope. After retiring from the real estate and property management business, Jan loved her work and co-workers at Dudley Moore Flooring and Awning. She was married to her loving husband James (Jimmy) M. Atkins for 25 years, who survives. Other survivors include step children Joshua and Katrina Atkins of Tallahassee, Florida, and Christa and Kris Beavers of Batesville, Mississippi; grandchildren, Kameron Beavers, Lea Beavers, Jonah Atkins, and Elea Atkins; cousins, Larry and Joan Longwell of Columbia, Missouri; nephew Chet Strope of Jefferson City, Missouri; Aunt Mary and John Brunnert of Carthage, Missouri; cousin, Clair Ann and Jim Huhn, Westphalia, Missouri, and many, many dear friends.
