Memorial services for Janice Louise Frantz Scovel, 88, of Thomasville are 11:00 am, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Jacobs will officiate. Mrs. Scovel passed away March 22, 2011 at Camilla Gardens. Born July 8, 1922 in Canton, OH, she was the daughter of the late William Harrison Frantz and Gladys Myrle Golden Frantz. On February 1, 1948 in East Liverpool, OH she married Clyde Grafton Scovel who preceded her in death. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville, was a member of the Albany Symphony Orchestra from 1979-1986; was a member of the Albany Little Theater Orchestra from 1979-1986; was a member of the East Liverpool Historical Society and provided music for nursing homes. Survivors in clued daughter Kathryn Janice Scovel Milani and husband Dr. Mario Milani of South Africa; son James Robert Scovel and wife Peggy of Hamilton, OH; daughter Cheryl Elaine Scovel of Thomasville; daughter-in-law Sue Scovel of Anderson Ind; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
