Jean Esther Barrow

Services for Jean Esther Barrow will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11 AM at Antioch Baptist Church with Interment at Pine Crest Memory Gardens in Moultrie, GA. Pastor James Miller will be officiating. Born September 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Grady Walter Sherrod and Mittie McDaniel Sherrod. She was a long time member of Antioch Baptist Church where she taught a ladies Sunday school class and was active in WMU. Jean retired from Warner’s as a seamstress and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Renee Parrish (Rick Mead) of Valdosta, Donnis Butler (Johnathan Wells) of Pavo, and Winton Barrow (Allison) of Pavo; grandchildren Cole Parrish, Tyler Hart, Lauren Cauthen, Darby Glover, and Taylor Barrow; several great-grandchildren; siblings Pete Sherrod of Merriville and Susie Sherrod of Thomasville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton H. Barrow and her brothers Buck Sherrod and Herman Sherrod.
