Services for Jeanette Ellen Herndon of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dick Turnipseed will officiate and interment is at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bill Burgess, Henry Wooten, Mike Fuches, Mills Herndon, Bryandt Herndon and Randall Herndon. Mrs. Herndon died September 25, 2003 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born March 16, 1928 in Moultrie, GA., she was the daughter of the late Horace Wisham and Jewell Strange. She was married to Joseph Elmer Herndon who preceded her in death. She was a retired Cosmetologist at Southwestern State Hospital and a member of Pavo United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Frances Herndon of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Tony Wooten of Boston; grandchildren, Nicholas Herndon, Toni Lynn Wooten and Tyler Wooten; brother, Bobby Wisham of Conyers, GA., sister, Lois Fuches, brothers, Milton Wisham, Jerry Wisham, Elton Wisham all of Moultrie and sister Juanita Fletcher of Macon, GA. Memorials may be made to the Georgia Chapter Alzheimer?s Association, 1512-1 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707 or to the American Cancer Society, Inc., P.O. Box 1201, Albany, GA 31702. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00PM to 8:00PM
