Jeanette Brinson Parrish

Graveside services for Jeanette Brinson Parrish, 80 of Thomasville will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Jimmy Clanton will officiate. Mrs. Parrish passed away June 5, 2017 at her residence. Born March 20, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John Heath Brinson and Lillian Fulford Brinson. She was married to James Carlton Parrish, who survives. Mrs. Parrish was retired from Thomasville City Schools and was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Other survivors include her children, Steve Parrish and wife Piper of Monticello, Florida, John Parrish and wife Katheryn of Thomasville, Ronnie Parrish and wife Debbie of Boston, Cindy McDuffie and husband Glen of Tallahassee, Florida and Rusty Parrish and wife Donna of Cumming, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Brinson and wife Jean of Thomasville and sisters, Joan Fleetwood and husband James and Diane Williams of Thomasville. She was also preceded in death by sister, Eloise Chastain. Memorial contributions may be made to Thomas County Public Library, 201 N. Madison St, Thomasville, Ga 31792. The family will receive friends 5-7pm, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
