Services for Jeannette Singletary of Thomasville are 2:00PM on Friday, January 31, 2003 at First Baptist Church Chapel. Rev. Walter Singletary will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Singletary died January 28, 2003 at Plantation Manor. Born January 31, 1921 in Thomas Co., she was the daughter of the late John Allen & Sallie Davis Johnson. She was married to the late Lee Hugh Singletary. She was a member of First Baptist Church and chief librarian at Thomas County Public Library and she served as chair person for the 1961 Rose Show. Suvivors include her daughter, Donna Singletary; son-in-law, Joel Bernstein; grandchildren, M. Q. & Logan Bernstein all of Arlington, Virginia. Local survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Earle Singletary of Camilla, GA., brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Terrell & Nan Singletary of Thomasville and many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Thomas County Public Library, 201 N.
