Memorial services for Jeannette Wilson Roberts of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer will officiate and interment will be in Friendship Cemetery in Donaldsonville, GA. Mrs. Roberts died March 14, 2005 at her residence. Born December 18, 1922 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Orrie Wilson and Alma Johnston Wilson. She married Dorris Randall Roberts, in 1942 of Donaldsonville, GA, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Roberts was a cosmetologist employed at Sue Rogers Beauty Shop and was a member of First Baptist Church in Thomasville. She taught Sunday school in Thomasville, GA and Chattahoochee, FL, was a Girl Scott Leader in Chattahoochee, Fl, taught Bible school in Chattahoochee, FL, and was in the Woman's Club in Chattahoochee, FL. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Forrest and Alan Massey of Boston, GA, sister, Doris Thornton of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews.
