Services for Jerrell Benton, 73, of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Brent Welch will officiate and interment will be at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Mr. Benton died June 13, 2012 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 1, 1938 in Thomas County, GA, he was the son of the late Clarence and Francis Chastain Benton. He was married to Vincy Rea Suggs Benton who preceded him in death. Mr. Benton was a pipe fitter for Davco. Survivors include daughters, Sheron Snellgrove of Pavo, GA, Mary Whiddon of Ochlocknee, GA, sons, Bo Kilgore of Ray City, GA, Joey Kilgore of Pavo, GA, sister, Ruth Law of Thomasville, GA, brother Wendell Benton of Coolidge , 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister, Joanne Benton and Geneva Benton and brother G. B. Benton. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Friday at the Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel.
