Jerry Nolan Atkinson

Jerry Nolan Atkinson, age 73, of Thomasville passed away on March 10, 2022, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Jerry was born in Meigs on February 17, 1949, a son to the late James and Willie Mae Atkinson. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Jerry enjoyed fishing but his greatest joy was being a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife Jewel (Fulton) Atkinson; children J.J. (Reba) Atkinson of Flowery Branch, GA, James (Melissa) Atkinson of Thomasville, GA, and Jackie Atkinson of Tallahassee, FL; step-daughter Carol (Michael) Cantrell of Helen, GA; brother Ricky James Atkinson, of Lady Lakes FL; sisters Shirley Hall of Davenport, FL, and Judy Atkinson of Havana, FL; grandchildren Amber Atkinson, Caitlyn Atkinson, Hailey Atkinson, Jared Atkinson, Victoria Atkinson, Brittney Rayes and Brittney Atkinson; great-grandchildren Jasmine Rayes and Damien Rayes; nieces Carlei Atkinson and Sally Atkinson; and numerous other close family and friends.
