Services for Jerry Funk will be on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Thomasville, Ga with interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Jerry Jay Funk was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1934. He was in the Air Force in Great Falls, Montana, where he met his wife, Marilyn Miller. They were married in 1955. He and his family moved to Thomasville in 1969. He was employed by Chevrolet and C&F Tires. He was an active member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his daughter Wendy Slusher, his son James (Emily) Funk, granddaughters Melissa and Cynthia Funk, and grandson Toby Slusher. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, and son in law Dale Slusher.
