Services for Jerry Monroe Gilbert, Sr., 72 of Pavo will be held at 11:00 am, Friday , February 14th, at Saint James Episcopal Church in Quitman. Father Jim Elliott will officiate. Mr. Gilbert passed away February 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born on February 3, 1948, in Colquitt to the late Grady Gilbert and Hilda Sheffield Gilbert. He was married to Constance Deems Gilbert, who survives. In his career, he worked for Piggly Wiggly, Winn Dixie, and Little Debbie. He also enjoyed farming. Other survivors include his children, Jerry (Jay) M. Gilbert, Jr., and wife Shannon of Pavo, Holly Brazel and husband Sean of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Morgan Terry Gilbert, Courtney Lowry Gilbert, Jacob Monroe Brazel and Grant Christopher Brazel, Zander Matthew Erway and sister, Annie Cecilia Askew and husband David Askew of Colquitt, Ga.
