Jerry Lamar Wilson

Funeral services for Jerry Lamar Wilson of Thomasville, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Tim Phillips, Rev. Lee Waller, and Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate. Mr. Wilson died March 28, 2004 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bainbridge, Ga. on January 2, 1942 to the late Perry Joseph Wilson and Dollie Alberta Alday Wilson. Mr. Wilson was retired from Bell South after 36 years as a Facility Technician, and was a member of the CWA Union and the Telephone Pioneers. On November 16, 1963 he married Sue Ellis Wilson in Thomasville who survives. Other survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Dee Dee & Troy Sadler of Boston, son Marty Wilson of Thomasville, son and daughter-in-law Jeff & Alison Wilson of Boston; grandchildren Heather & Wally Croley of Cairo, Duran Sadler of Thomasville, Hunter Wilson, and Ashlyn Wilson both of Boston; great grandchildren Chase and Garyn Croley of Cairo; sisters Juanita Sparks, Jewell Knight, Patricia Geren, Sybil Sawyer; brothers Larry Wilson and Eddie Wilson; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. The family will recieve friends on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
