Services for Jerry Wayne Pierce of Ochlocknee will be at 1:00PM on Thursday, September 12, 2002 at Allen & ALLen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert Tice will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are Pat Christopher, J. T. Turner, Tony Skidmore, Jim Anderson, Sherrill Dunham & Mike Vaughn. Honorary Pallbearers are Jessie Wilson and Mark Monk. Mr. Pierce died on September 10, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born June 13, 1957 in Savannah, GA., he was the son of Lenzy Pierce who survives and the late Ruth Bird Pierce. He was employed as a Mill Wright. Other survivors include his daughter, Shannon Hadwin of Ella Bell, GA., son, Zachry Pierce of Springfield, GA.; extended family, Yvonne, Melanie, Chad & Jimmy Sculley; 2 grandchildren; brother, Russell Pierce, sister, Barbara Strickland both of Savannah and numerous friends.
