Services for Jessie Mae Law will be held at Dawson Street Baptist Church on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 11:00am. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons Bob Minick, Jay Minick, Jason Hand, John Scott, Richard Scott, Jr., Joe Turner. Born January 19, 1915 in Thomas Co., she was the daughter of the late Aaron & Tabitha Key Davis. Mrs. Law died Tuesday, Feb 14, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was a charter member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter Doris Minick of Brooklet, Ga; daughter and son-n-law Johnnie Mae and Dick Scott of Thomasville; daughter Jane Hand of Thomasville; and son & daughter-n-law David and Anna Law of Big Canoe, Ga; 9 grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Law was preceded in death by husband Dallice J. Law, former sheriff of Thomas Co., and son Dallice J. Law, Jr. and grandson Tony Hand. Donations may be made to the building fund at Dawson Street Baptist Church 1025 N. Dawson St, Thomasville, Ga 31792 or Cystic Fybrosis Foundation, 2250 N. Druid Hills Rd, Suite 275, Atlanta, Ga 30329. The family will receive friends from 5 to7 pm at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
