Jessie Ronnell Pierce

Graveside services for Jessie Ronnell Pierce, 72, of Thomasville, will be held Friday December 8 at 2:00 PM at Barnett?s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gary Milton and Rev. Barry Brock will officiate. Mr. Pierce?s nephews and Deacons of Barnett?s Creek Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Born on June 17, 1934 in Thomas County, he was the son of the late John Gordon and Amanda Agnes Allen Pierce. On May 15, 1956 in Thomasville, he married Elaine Marie Reneau, who survives. Mr. Pierce was a retired U S Federal meat inspector. He was a member of Barnett?s Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and was a faithful worker. He also had a great love for gospel music. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Deborah and David Phillips of Hart Co., GA. and Cindy Pierce of Gordon Co., GA. Two sisters, Marion Stewart and Doris Smith and a brother Hubert Pierce, preceded Mr. Pierce in death. Memorials may be made to Barnett?s Creek Baptist Church 27 Maddox Road, Ochlocknee, GA 31773.
