Born August 14, 1915 in Ochlocknee, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Iowa and Ethel Carter Dixon. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include sisters, Annie Laura Chastain of Ochlocknee, Eriel Smith of North, S.C., brothers, Joseph T. Dixon of Charleston, S.C., John W. Dixon of North Charleston, S. C., Jack I. Dixon of Murphy, N.C. and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until service time at the funeral chapel.
