Jewel Marie Hughes

Memorial services for Jewel Marie Hughes will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Allen and Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Viewing will be held before the service on Monday from 1pm-2pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Jewel Hughes passed away on September 9, 2021. She was born on October 24, 1927 Jewel was a fine example of a Christian woman. In her spare time, Jewel loved to visit with friends, play the piano, bake, and partake in flower gardening. She was also known to have an immense adoration for dogs and cats. Ms. Hughes is survived by her daughters, Susan Rollins Conner of Tallahassee, FL and Wanda Rollins of Thomasville; grandchildren, Richard (Tiffany) Hughes, Corey Rollins, and Emily (Devan) Foret; Sue (Rodger) Pippins of Eufaula, AL, Beverly (Macon) Metcalf of Pensacola, Fl., Mary (Randy) Trumbull of Eufaula,Al, Debra Hughes of Eufaula Al. Also multiple great grandchildren, Hunter Rollins, Fisher Rollins, Riley Foret, Lyla Foret, Amanda (Michael) Mathis, Rebecca Mathis, Joey Mathis, Virginia Rogers, and Ashlynn (Billy) Esquivel, and great-great-grandchild Kahmryn Johns. Ms. Hughes is preceded in death by her husband, Oather B. Hughes; daughter, Carol Rollins; granddaughter, Tonia Swords; and great-great-grandson, Kahm Reynolds.
