Funeral services for Jewel Dawson Smith, 84 of Thomasville will be held 2:00pm, Friday, November 7, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Born November 03, 1930 in Williston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Stonewall and Ada Sullivan Dawson. She was married to the late John Barber Smith. She was a homemaker and worked for the Thomas County Public Library, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-laws, Jay B. and Sheila Smith of Albany, David and Jane Smith of Ashburn, GA; sister, Katherine Morris of Warner Robins, GA, and grandchildren, Matthew & Ashley Smith , Merrit Smith, Mason & Karon Smith and Remington Smith.
