Jewell Grace Macon Dugger

Funeral services for Jewell Grace Macon Dugger of Thomaville will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, June 6, 2005 at Dawson Street United Methodist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Ramon Hernandez will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dugger went home to be with the Lord on June 3, 2005 at Hospitality Care Nursing Home. Born January 9, 1913 in Jefferson County, FL she was the youngest sibling and the daughter of the late John Riley Macon and Jeannette Wade. On May 6, 1939 in Thomas County, GA she married George Bartow Dugger who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Susanna Wesley Sunday School class and member of Frances Markert Circle. Mrs. Dugger graduated in 1933 from Dixie Consolidated High School and retired from Balfour School Cafeteria. Granny/GG?s precious memories will stay with us forever. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Frank Neel, Jr. of Thomasville; granddaughter, Rebecca Lydia Neel of Thomasville; great grandson, Ty Hunter Neel of Thomasville; sisters-in-law, L?Nita Macon of Rochester, Minnesota, Annie Belle Robinson of Yuma, AZ; nephew, Calvin Lacy Macon of Yuma, AR; nieces, Eloise Smith of Brandon, MS and Jeanette Chisler of Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clide, Lacy, and Arthur Macon, and sisters, Esther James and Annie Mae Harrison. Memorials may be made to Dawson Streeet United Methodist Church, 1132 N.
