Jim L. Sneed

Services for Jim L. Sneed will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Center with Rev. David Harrell officiating. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Jim passed away on August 29, 2021 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 19, 1934, in Matthews, MO, to the late Levi Sneed and Beulah Carey Sneed. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Thomasville. He was married to Lois Eastman Sneed who survives. Other survivors include his children, Jennifer Kunz, John Sneed (Sharon), Rebekah Sneed and Charles Sneed (Rebecca) all of St. Louis, MO and step daughter Marilyn Skeen (Steven) of Alabama; six grandchildren and brother Jerry Sneed. He was preceded in death by sisters Wynett Geyer, Geneva Sherren, Mary Kathryn Johns, JoAnn Carmen, Beulah O'rear, Opal Abels, Eulah Hastie and brother William R. Sneed. Family will receive friends from 1-2pm before the service on Thursday and there will be no committal following the service.
