Graveside services for Jimmie Titherington Carnahan of Thomasville will be held at Noon on Sunday September 26, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Judson Maxwell officiating. Mr. Carnahan passed away on Saturday September 11, 2021 at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald, Ga. Born on October 23, 1935 in East Point, Ga., he was the son of the late Robby T. Carnahan and Louise Schwall Carnahan. Mr. Carnahan was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for the New York Mets for over 10 years in the physical therapy medical department before moving to St. Petersburg, Fl where he lived many years until his retirement. After retirement he moved to the Thomasville-Cairo area where he worked as a handy man helping many people with all types of repairs. Surviving is his brothers and sisters-in-law Michael and Emily Carnahan of Ellijay, Ga. and Robert and Bunny Carnahan of Thomasville; nieces and nephews Martha and Joey Hannah, Renee and John Maddox, Brenda and Ted Elliott, Russell and Angie Argo, Robbie and Carrie Carnahan, Ian Carnahan, and other great nieces and nephews.
