Jimmie Redding

Services for Jimmie Redding will be held Thursday, June 27 at 2 PM at Antioch Baptist Church. Dr. Jimmy Clanton will officiate. Born February 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James S. Sherrod and Ella Nesmith Sherrod. She was married to Tommy Redding, who survives. Jimmie was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She is survived by her children Thomas Michael Redding (Sharon) of Camilla, Rebecca Carlson (Robert) of Lawrenceville, and James E. Redding (Holli) of Pavo and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Helen Simmons and her brother James Samuel Sherrod. Family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, June 26 from 5-7 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
