Funeral services for Jimmy Russell Law will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Gatlin Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Conner and Rev. Darrell Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wayne Law Jr, Lee Ballangee, Eddie Busby, Mark Busby, Wayne Stalling, Kent Chason, and Brandon Richards. Mr. Law passed away on September 16, 2017 at his residence. Born on August 12, 1946 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Johnny Russell Law and Stella Reichert Law who survives. Mr. Law was retired from Sunnyland as a mechanic after 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife Reba Marilyn Lairsey Law of Thomasville; mother Stella Law of Moultrie; step children Martha Mathis of Thomasville, Candy Simpson of Thomasville, Lonnie Beckwith of Poulan, Theresa and Gary Barrett of Cairo, Shirley and Josh Bachana of Texas; siblings Tommy Law of South Carolina, Wayne Law Sr. of Thomasville, Katherine Baggett of Coolidge, Carolyn Lewis of Corona California, Sandra Casey of Moultrie; grandchildren Wayne Law Jr. of Havana, Fl, Lee Ballangee of Thomasville, Felicia Litton of Thomasville, Brandy Week of Cairo, Callie Stalling of Thomasville, Celisa Read of Iron City, Ga., William Beckwith of Bainbridge, Kimberly Clark of Thomasville, Chawn Barrett of Cairo; great grandchildren Dakota, Sierra, Hayley, Zalan, Natalee, Jorden, Tristen, Charles, Hunter, Racheal; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-children Angie Beckwith and William Beckwith, brother Randy Law, and grandson John Barrett. His family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00PM.
