Jimmy F. Mathews

Jimmy Franklin Mathews, 75 of Thomasville passed away November 4, 2018 at Archbold Hospital. Born January 7, 1943 in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late Frank Mathews and Lydia Mitchell Cannon. He is survived by wife, Linda Holloway of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Shirley Adams Mathews on November 23, 2011. He loved swapping old stories, fishing, camping and spending time with family. He was loved and will be deeply missed. He is survived by son, Frankie Mathews and wife Becky of Thomasville; grandchildren, Angie and Kyle Reichert, Morgan & Tim Parker, Austin Mathews, Olivia Mathews, Aaron Webb, Frank Ragan and Jessie Ragan; great-grandchildren, Emma & Myles Reichert; sisters, Julie & Jack Sealey, Ann & Leon Whatley, Martha & Gary Baldwin and Marcelle & Ricky Dixon; brothers, Ronnie & Lyndal Mathews and Stan & June Mathews; step-son-in-law, Burt Reagan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Angela Mathews; step-daughter, Carol Reagan; sisters & brothers, Alene & Euelle Collins, Adam (Pete) Mathews and Wilma & Benny Tedder. The family will be receiving friends for a celebration meal on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the home of Martha Baldwin, 168 Baldwin Rd, Ochlocknee, Ga 31773 from 6:30 to 8:30 in honor of Jimmy.
