Jo Ann Wisner

Jo Ann Wisner, 63, of Ochlocknee, GA, went home to be with the Lord on May 10th 2017 in her home surrounded by loved ones.Born on January 30th, 1954. Jo Ann was a lifelong Thomas County native who was born into a large farming family in Pavo, Ga. She worked at South Western State Hospital for 18 years and then later worked in the Thomasville City School system where she retired in 2015. Jo Ann was a dedicated mother, loving wife, artist, painter, beekeeper, organic gardener and lover of nature. In her spare time she loved making and selling natural health care products such as soaps, lotion bars and lip balm, many of which contained honey and beeswax from her bees. She is preceded in death by her Father Roy Donald Vick, Mother Lou Alice Caldwell Vick, and Brothers Donny Vick, Louie Vick and Harry Vick. Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband of 25 years William K. Wisner, Sons Jonathan Crawford, Jason Crawford & Garrett Wisner, Grandchildren Karma Crawford, Aidan Crawford, Chloe Crawford, Ella Crawford Caitlin West, and Siblings Stanley Vick, Ted Vick & Elaine Vick Taylor.
Memorial services will be held at Allen & Allen Funeral home on Saturday May 13th 2017 from 2pm -4pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life foundation in honor of Jo Ann Wisner.
