Joann Burns Emmet

A memorial service for Joann Burns Emmet, 65, of Thomasville, will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 11, 2009 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Emmett died April 23, 2009, at her home in Thomasville after a lengthy illness. Born May 15, 1943 in Thomasville. She was the daughter of the late W.J. Burns and living Essie Saddler Burns both of Thomasville. She was a devoted and loving mother and wife. Survivors include her mother, Essie Saddler Burns, husband Thomas Emmet PHD., daughter and son-in-law, Allison & Dean Kusuda, son, Joel Price, son, Michael Post, beloved adopted son, Rocky Emmet, grandson, Jordan Kusuda. JoAnn has been cremated and there will be no burial. JoAnn is free from her pain and suffering and resting in the arms of the Lord.
