Joann Williams Higginbotham

Graveside services for Joann Williams Higginbotham of Thomasville were held at 2:30 pm, on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Carrie Myers officiated. Mrs. Higginbotham passed away November 19, 2020 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee. Born in Senoia, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William Boswell Williams and Sue McGee Williams. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. A.P. Higginbotham. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia and of the Terry Business College. She was the office manager for Dr. Robert Jackson’s office and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, but especially orchids and tomatoes. She loved feeding and watching humming birds. She is also survived by her daughters, Suzanne Payne Higginbotham of Thomasville and Kathryn Blaylock and husband Danny of Moultrie; grandchildren, Tilden Blaylock and Kelly Blaylock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center, First United Methodist Church or a charity of your choosing.
