Joann Faulk Yeomans

Services for Joann Faulk Yeomans will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Brent Welch will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Ms. Yeomans passed away June 20, 2015 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born January 2, 1936 in Lenox, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George May and Carlie Belle Deese May. She received her nursing degree at Sumter Technical Collage then worked as a LPN at Archbold Memorial Hospital and was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly. She is survived by her children, Beverly Randall of Boone, North Carolina, Tommy Dollar and wife Judy of Nicholls, Georgia, Sandra Greene and husband Alan of Boone, North Carolina, Jimmy Dollar, Jr of Tifton and Melissa Avera and husband Jason of Thomasville; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Faulk. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm – 7:00pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
