Joe Allen Stewart

Funeral services for Joe Allen Stewart, 47, of Thomasville will be Saturday, February 8 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church Sanctuary. Rev. Larry Harris will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Born on June 15, 1955 in Thomasville, Mr. Stewart was the son of the late Allen Lawrence and Pansy Williams Stewart. On July 7, 1977, he married Kimberly Jane Stewart, who survives. Mr. Stewart was the Operations Manager for Williams & Parker, LLC. He was a member of Dawson St. United Methodist Church and a member of Ducks Unlimited. Other survivors include a son, Derrick Ryan Stewart and a daughter Katie Jane Stewart both of Thomasville. Also surviving is a sister and brother in law Lyn and Jim Chalkley; and 2 nephews Justin Priest and Joseph Chalkley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Friday night at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
