Joel Douglas Cain

Funeral services for Joel Douglas Cain, Sr., 61, of Coolidge will be 3:00PM, Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Boston Church of God. Rev. Billy Mathis will officiate and interment will be at Boston City Cemetery. Mr. Cain passed away on August 11, 2018 at his residence. Born February 3, 1957 in Savannah, he was the son of the late Jack Cain and Rita Jean Young Kicklighter. He worked at Hurst Boiler for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Survivors include, sons, Joel Douglas Cain, Jr. of Greenville, Florida and Tristan Cain of Coolidge; brother Gregory Jack Cain of Quitman, Georgia; sisters, Karen Smith and husband Dennis of Sylvania, Georgia, Sharon Varn and husband Allen of Sylvania, Georgia, Monica Wilson and husband Emory of Trenton, Florida and Deidre Durance and husband Stacey of Alma, Georgia, also several aunts and uncles, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his nephews, Gregory Jack Cain, Jr. and Kasey Earl Farwell. The family will receive friends from 2:00Pm until 3:00PM before the service at the church.
